Sparking reconciliation
one friendship at a time.

How it works

Reconciliation Through Relationships (RTR) connects Indigenous and non-Indigenous people to build friendships and strengthen cross-cultural understanding. After an orientation with facilitators, the pairs will meet once or twice a month for a discussion centred on learning material about Indigenous history in Canada. The program concludes with a final gathering of the entire cohort to share learnings, express challenges, and celebrate growing friendships.
